This session is only for teachers who currently have drone programs at their school. This is limited to Middle Creek HS, East Wake HS, Knightdale HS, Panther Creek HS, and Southeast Raleigh HS.
All drone teachers should plan to attend this informative session with Chan Broome to learn more about instructional resources related to the pathway user guide, state resources, and other local resources available to this PLC. Risk Management leadership will also join us to discuss board policies and regulations that are required for drone programs within WCPSS.
Cameron Alge with Technical Training Aids (TTA) will join us to discuss drone equipment implementation.
In this session, teachers will hear from Rod Lykins with SkillsUSA on SkillsUSA updates and how to start a chapter. At the end of the session, teachers will have time to complete the CTSO Letter of Intent, required for the CTSO Stipend.
All high school Drones teachers should plan to attend this informative session with Senior Administrator Chad Holloman to learn more about CTE updates related to budget, program planning, and district updates for the 2026-2027 school year. Time will also be given for PLC planning time.
In this session, Drones teachers will discover resources in Certiport available to them. They will also explore other LMS resources provided by the curriculum vendor. NC Resources may also be reviewed.
