All middle school TED teachers should plan to attend this informative session with Senior Administrator Chad Holloman to learn more about CTE updates related to budget, program planning, and district updates for the 2026-2027 school year. District Risk Management leadership will join us to discuss new drone expectations for TSA Advisors and TED. Time will also be given for PLC planning time.
This time is dedicated to discuss pacing guides, instructional practices, and resources that are available. Those teachers who attended the EmpowerED Summit will discuss lessons learned and activities that were developed based on those sessions.
All middle school TED teachers should plan to attend this informative session with Chan Broome to learn more about instructional resources related to the pathway user guide, state resources, and other local resources available to this PLC. PLC time will be given to put these instructional resources into practice.
In this session, Middle School TED teachers will review State and National TSA Updates, review the calendar of events at the local, regional, and state levels, as well as review expectations from WCPSS Central Services team as it relates to TSA participation at the middle school level. Time will be given for TSA advisors to complete the letter of intent for the CTSO stipend and complete a plan of work to earn the stipend.
In this session, teachers will review current safety protocols as well as continue to look at best practices for MS TED. Teachers will also compare their current course offerings with EY30 courses to determine overlap, and to prevent duplication of course content.
