School-based enterprise and production work can look differently : depending on the program area, purpose, and need in the area. Whether it is a new class offering or embedded in existing coursework, it is essential that teachers know the federal and state laws, board policies and regulations, and CTE District Office expectations for this work.
Enterprise/Production work allows programs to develop a product line, market, and then sale the products. However, it requires strict oversight, detailed record keeping, and fiscal and policy compliance.
In this session, drafting teachers will work collectively on instructional best practices, credential improvement, POLs, and other PLC topics of interest.
In this session, Drones teachers will discover resources in Certiport available to them. They will also explore other LMS resources provided by the curriculum vendor. NC Resources may also be reviewed.
In this session, NCCER teachers will work collaboratively to review the curriculum crosswalks and determine the best path to teach the new material without NCCER Connect.
